My Big Fat Greek Wedding had it all wrong. It is all about the vinegar, vinegar, vinegar.
You have a mosquito bite? White vinegar on a cotton ball and press for 10 seconds (thank you yiayia!)
You have some hard water on your shower doors? Mix white vinegar and baking soda to form a paste. Smear it on the glass, let is sit for 15 minutes, scrub it off with the hard side of a sponge and hot water.
You need to clean hardwood floors? 1/2 cup of vinegar in 1 gallon of hot water
You need to boil your easter eggs? Add 1/4 cup of vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt to the water
You need to clean you island counter tops? The women in my family have been using vinegar in an old spray bottle for years. Spray, immediately wipe dry, no problem!
Sensitive to laundry detergents? Use a vinegar rinse instead of softener, dries without a smell! Happened to me pregnant, it works!
Grossed out and just want to disinfect something? Vinegar on a paper towel, BEAUTIFUL!
